Instruments of Darkness tell us truths
The quote that I want to use in my essay is from Macbeth, “Instruments of Darkness tell us truths." I think it is a paradox because it says that the "instruments of darkness" tell the truth. And in the Bible, john 3:21, it says that the truth is the light. So, Shakespeare tells us that darkness produces light, which is a paradox because they're opposites and that's the way it works. But in real life, if you think about it, sometimes the darkness around us draws us to the light. An example would be if a child lied to his parents about something and expect them to never find out but actually they do because the truth always comes out from darkness. Parents always find out if the child does something bad. All the bad things that people do, which are the instruments of darkness, is going to come out in light. If people do bad things, they sin, they are getting used to it, and they think that something is wrong with the world, so they're trying to look for light. This quote kind of make sense but at the same time it's not. For non believers, It is hard to look for light when it's dark. But the Bible says that if you're going to see the light, you're going to find the truth, because light is the truth.
